The Solar PowerPac II electrical power system from Advanced Energy Group is an innovative way to operate many types of devices regardless of whether public utility power is available or not. Virtually silent, this complete power system offers many benefits to businesses, home and ranch owners, school science departments, and for recreational uses. For business, it will operate such devices as Point-of-Sale equipment, so the POS may be functional virtually anywhere. For example, it will operate a typical POS for four or more hours even without the solar panel being deployed or potentially all day (up to 12 hours) with the solar panel.

It's extremely flexible. The 120 VAC/60 Hz and 12 VDC power supply may be operated with or without the solar panel depending on the application, the devices requiring power, and the run times desired. In most cases, the solar panel extends run time significantly by supplying power from the sun as power is being removed from the base unit. Many smaller loads may be operated on an indefinite long-term basis.

When used separated from the solar panel the base unit can still provide up to 600 watt-hours of virtually silent, usable power for much smaller loads and can provide over 1000 watts for brief operation of larger loads. Typically, loads such as 100 watts will operate for 4 hours from just the base unit. As a complete package, the base unit is recharged or supplemented with either the supplied solar panel, a 5 amp AC wall charger (U.S.A. & Canada only), or the DC power cord to charge from a vehicle, and it can also be charged with your existing generator using either the 5 amp charger, directly from a 12 volt source found on many smaller generators, or you can obtain a larger, 10 to 15 amp, 12 volt automatic battery charger to speed recharging from the generator's AC receptacle.

A complete electrical power system: The Solar PowerPac II is a complete package containing the AC/DC base unit with internal 60 amp-hour sealed battery and detachable pull-handle. The solar electric panel has a high-tempered safety glass covering, rigid aluminum frame and integrated, advanced solar controller with 15 foot solar power cord. These are highest quality solar panels insuring performance in any region of the world. It also comes standard with the AC wall charger (U.S.A. & Canada only), DC power cord and easy deployment instructions. It can be set up in as little as a minute. Used separately, the base unit requires no setup at all. Note 1: the internal sealed battery is replaceable. It is also safe for transporting in any vehicle. Note 2: The standard 110-watt solar panel will recharge the internal battery in approximately 10 to 12 hours of direct sun if the battery is drained, or with direct sun it can offset a power draw of +/- 100 watts so the battery is not discharged during use.
