FRAMED PANELS - FLEXIBLE PANELS - FOLDABLE PANELS - INTEGRATED ROOFING


UNI-SOLAR® Framed panels are for permanent, fixed position mounting with optimum tilt, wind resistance, and exposure to sunlight. These glass-free modules can be utilized in a wide variety of applications from fence charging to telecommunications. The large framed panels are often used as building blocks in photovoltaic arrays, which can be assembled to meet virtually any load.

Each UNI-SOLAR® framed solar battery charger uses United Solar's proprietary Triple Junction spectrum-splitting thin film amorphous silicon cell design to achieve high performance. Encapsulated in UV-stabilized polymers and framed with anodized aluminum, a Galvalume steel backing  provides stiffness to the module. Bypass diodes are connected across each cell, allowing the modules (excluding US-3 and US-5) to produce power even when partially shaded.

US-32, US-42, and US-64 modules are equipped with weather-resistant junction boxes to accept 1/2-inch conduit and have a twenty-year limited warranty.

The US-21, US-11 and US-5 have a ten-year limited warranty and include an 8’ cable. The US-3 features a built-in blocking diode and carries a three-year limited warranty. All models are UL listed.

UNI-SOLAR® Flexible panels (USF) can be mounted on curved surfaces such as hatch covers, decks and  vehicle roofs, or tied down on sail covers, dingies, and canvas awnings. For battery (typically 12V) maintenance and to improve battery system reliability, the USF battery charger is flexible, reliable and cost-effective for many applications. Portable Solar Charging Solar modules for remote applications must be tough, lightweight and easy to transport.  UNI-PACs are designed for the challenge of the field. They provide power even with bullet holes or in partial shade. The UNI-PAC® can be dropped, stepped on, packed and re-deployed, and will continue to operate. The UNI-PAC® has been field-proven as dependable and easy to use for military units, trekkers, climbers and professional photographers.  They  depend on the UNI-PAC® for field communications, emergency power and battery maintenance.

The UNI-PAC® 10 watt, 15 watt and 30 watt are covered by a 5-year warranty. The unique design of the UNI-PAC® features a lightweight construction without glass or fragile crystalline to break, crack, or add on extra weight. The tough nylon fabric covering allows the unit to be folded to a convenient book size, for easy storage and transport. The UNI-PAC® 10 offers dual voltage charging for 12V and 24V, the UNI-PAC® 15 and the UNI-PAC® 30 are for 12V charging. The UNI-PAC® was designed to meet military requirements for durability, performance and reliability. Tefzel (by DuPont) serves as a strong, long-lasting front cover. Individual solar laminates contain by-pass diodes, making the UNI-PAC® solar chargers tolerant of severe shadow or partial covering. Charging rate and voltage can even be adjusted to meet specific needs.
