This unit is more powerful than the smaller Power Pac.
It's ideal for many applications requiring remote, portable or even stationary power.


The Power Pac I is powered by a rechargeable 28Ah sealed battery and provides up to 600 watts of AC power and 480 watts continuous for short periods. With three convenient AC outlets and one DC socket, this unit is the right power solution for people with more demanding applications or the need to run muliple small loads simultaneously. Perfect for power emergencies, this powerpack includes an AM/FM radio with digital alarm clock, to keep you connected and informed, built-in emergency light, jumper cables, a 12v cord for charging from a vehicle and enough power to power hundreds of small loads.

This unit has about 50% more battery capacity and over 50% more AC power than the smaller Power Pac. This unit has the radio/clock feature, where the smaller Power Pac unit has the air compressor feature, but no clock/radio. We like the radio feature. The radio can run a month on just the battery (even without a solar panel), and we like this ability to stay in touch with local communications during emergencies, etc.

Back up Power for 120 Volt AC Appliances and Equipment
Run hundreds of devices including
desktop computers, power tools, TVs and VCRs.

Power Pac I powers most 120 volt AC appliances and equipment just as they
would be run by utility power from your wall outlet. Power Pac I automatically
shuts off if an appliance draws higher than 600 continuous watts or if the battery is too
low. Recharge Power Pac I easily from either the solar panel while using the base unit,
from your wall outlet or the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle while driving.

Battery Power for 12 Volt DC Appliances and Equipment
Operate any device that is intended to run from a car or boat's cigarette
lighter outlet. The Power Pac I will run any 12 volt DC auto or marine appliance
that draws 12 amps or less. Just insert the plug on the appliance into the the
DC Power Socket on Power Pac I's side panel. Power Pac I automatically shuts
off if the battery is too low or if the device draws more than 12 amps.

Easy (flexible) Recharging!
In addition to your solar panel, Power Pac I can be conveniently recharged
with its accessories to keep it ready for its next use. A
variety of additional charging options are provided.

AC Charger
...by using utility power from your wall outlet and Power Pac I's
"plug it in and forget it" 1 amp AC Charger. Power Pac I's AC charger regulates the
charge and will not overcharge the battery, so you can leave it plugged in until you need it.

DC Charge cable
...from your vehicle as you drive. By plugging the DC Charge
Cable into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket, Power Pac I can
be fully recharged while you drive in only 3 to 4 hours. There is no
need to wait for available utility power. Vehicle voltage
regulators will ensure that PowerPAC II is not overcharged.

The Power Pac I is also EXPANDABLE!
Extended Operating Time With an External Battery and More Solar Power!
You can achieve much longer run times for your appliances when you connect
Power Pac I to a larger, external battery. For example, adding a common 85 amp-hour battery
will give you over 3 times the total operating time on just
battery power alone, and you can add another solar panel
to increase the rate of solar power charging for the larger battery. Very flexible!
