The Solar Ventilation Fan is a simple and environmentally sensible solution that can save you money. Powered completely by free solar energy, this sleek and efficient vent is compact and quiet. Fully operational right from the box, it installs easily with no electrical wiring and does not require obtaining an Electrical Permit. And it's powerful! Operating at approximately 850 cfm (cubic feet per minute), a single unit can fully vent up to 1200 square feet. Place it wherever you need improved circulation such as attics, lofts, workshops, storage sheds, garages, barns, public facilities, greenhouses and even your equipment or storage trailer.
The attention to detail on this equipment
insures long lasting reliability and performance. Its engineered design
minimizes all obstructions in the flashing and shroud and incorporates
an angled throat to facilitate a venturi effect or suction effect to increase
airflow. This design not only reduces wear on the motor but
increases the average cfm output.
The panel mounting bracket lets you keep the panel flush or tilt the panel to the best solar collection angle. Usually, for a fixed year-round positioning your latitude is the best or you can adjust it seasonally.
This equipment mounts between your roof rafters. A nominal 14" hole is cut in the roof deck, which is between two of your roof rafters. Comes with complete installation instructions.
